I have been waiting for a transport chair since a month ago. Put two orders in and still waiting for service. Worse experience I have had. Calling hospital who sent the order into Apria. Don’t deal with them.
Hire people who care and then give them the power to fix the mess someone made.
I was so appreciative of their quick delivery of oxygen when it was necessary, but after that, forget it! I had it for two weeks, called my doc and asked them to fax the order for pick up. They did (proof was provided) and still, no call to schedule pick up. It took a total of FIVE phone calls, TWO different faxes from my doctor's office, and now I'm on indefinite hold with a rep who was supposedly scheduling a pick-up. Worst customer "service" I've ever experienced! They withdrew almost $500 from my account with no approval and not even receiving a bill prior to it. My insurance company said that Apria failed to do the proper paperwork to get paid, so instead of correcting the issue they just took our money. The local office has given us nothing but a runaround, and the GM Ron is a rude pompous conman who refuses to take ur calls or come out of his office when I go in. they could start by not continuing to bill my husband after he died! I've been on the phone, the website...no explanation. SOOO frustrating!! and I didn't think they were any good before, either!
The worst company I have EVER dealt with. Told me my equipment was covered by insurance while it wasn’t, told me my balance was zero then charged me almost $400 dollars with no good explanation for why, kept charging me monthly with a fee that I never agreed for and so on and so on. Every single person you reach will give you different information. They lie and are fraudulent. I can’t believe my insurance company is still working with them. Beware!!!
Worst excuse for a company I have ever had to deal with. They expect everyone is loaded with money and they will take advantage of you. 1 Star on BBB and thousands of complaints. This company will go under very soon hopefully. Choose a different provider.
Apria Healthcare operates like a scam. 9 months go by and I have a zero balance, then out of nowhere I owe over $1,000. They call daily. I pay to get them to leave me alone, and 2 weeks later my balance remains even though it has been processed by my credit card company. They’re still calling. Bunch of thieves if you want my opinion.
Improve customer service! Improve communication! Improve how billing department talks to customers! In other words, improve EVERY AREA! Worst company I've ever dealt with! If I ran my company like this, I wouldn't be in business. But what does Apria care -- they have contracts with Kaiser & Facey (2 that I know of) and get paid no matter what! :(
