They are a joke. They need a credit card on file because I am self-pay (which is understandable) however, they could not confirm a pick up time or total charges. Please note: this was for a bili blanket for my one week old who had a bilirubin level of 22 on Friday. The blanket was ordered Friday and no one called me. It is now Monday afternoon and I had to call them to find out where my blanket is. I guess they don't realize that brain damage can occur in babies when the bili levels hit 25. This place LIES to you! I was released SATURDAY from rehab to NO HOSPITAL BED! I am still WAITING! Last night I was told equipment would be delivered that night with our $300 co-pay! Nope, I get the runaround! Now I'm supposed to wait until tomorrow! What a mess! It is very hard to get comfortable in a regular bed when you cannot use your legs!!!
The absolute WORST company to deal with. Their billing procedures and customer service are horrible. When the insurance company asks them for information, it takes Apria months to relay it to them and that sets off all sorts of problems. Stay away from Apria. Find a different company to get your CPAP supplies from.
I use to like these guys. they were always good about letting me know of costs before shipping. In Nov they sent me a shipment of CPAP supplies, but they were supposed to contact me regarding pricing before shipping. They sent the supplies without my authorization and month later I get a $300 bill. Been calling them since shortly after Christmas and getting nothing but a run around. I'm getting pretty pissed, next contact is the executives...that should get things moving...
