Waited for over 2 hours to see the doctor and then waited a other 2 hours to get the meds. I understand being busy, but waiting more than 20 minutes to get meds is absolutely ridiculous. Never coming back here again. Spending over 4 hours at the vet and only actually interacted with people for less than 10 minutes. Then we were told to meet the ladies up front to check out. My dog was having an allergic reaction and my regular vet was closed. They were able to help her and give me options on how to deal with the situation. This is not the first time it has happened to her. I will be contacting my regular vet in the morning to see if we can get something prescribed to her so this type of emergency can hopefully be treated with out a ER visit. Who knows if there is enough time to even get there in this type of situation. Was so scared. Ty so much!
I had a tough day on Sunday when my cat of 16 years took a turn for the worst. I am very thankful for how helpful and kind the staff was to get my family through having to lay him to rest.
On August 26th my dog was brought in after suffering a seizure. Thanks to the quick thinking of Dr. Swartzel it was concluded that my pet had suffered a hypoglycemic seizure after ingesting a whole big pack of Icebreakers gum-related to the Xylitol in the gum. After two days of treating him for his hypoglycemia and for the hepatic injury he acquired Casper is almost back to his same goofy self. I brought my dog Albus to the st paul location the other night. We had an appointment the following day at our local vet to let him go due to life threatening medical problems. After we brought him home from our vet we realized he probably wasnt going to make it through the night so we brought him there so he wouldnt suffer anymore. I just took my girl Pepper to the st paul location because she ran into a door that had a nail sticking out of it. So it cut her pretty bad.... I've never been to this location before and all the staff's were great with helping us. Pepper ended up spending the night so they can work on her. She looks so much better, still a little drugged up from her meds but I'm just glad that the staff's did great on her. Will update in 2 weeks after her appointment to take her stitches out!!
I want to thank every employee who was at the St. Paul location on the night of 07/01/18 when I brought in my cat Charlotte. My sweet girl was diagnosed with severe kidney issues & the difficult choice to end her suffering was made. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion, kindness, and care. Although I am heartbroken, I can find comfort in knowing that Charlotte was surrounded by kind people who helped me make her last moments pain free. Thank you all.
