So the company abruptly closed all locations across ***************** Friday April 24th 2023. Firing 288+ employees at the corporate headquarters located in ******* **. There are no ways to submit payments in person or via online as American Financial is also closed *the bank owned by American Car Center. Many were left without jobs, and those of us currently financing through the company doesnt know what our future holds

This company is pure garbage I have emailed them my complaint as well. Customers had to find out thru the internet and social media that their business shut down and that we are still required to make payments? But fail to realize and admit that we cannot make any payments due to the website not working phone lines shut down as well as automated systems being shut down and being told that theres no account with our phone numbers or account numbers ? I did business with these people and they are crooks. I got a car there and ended up paying for a new car. The balloon payment once you start paying it off is ridiculous. I hope they never do business again. People please fix your credit and get your car from a reputable dealership with a warranty. They take advantage of people who have no other choice but to go to dealerships like theirs. Once the salesman sells you your car, you'll never be able to get ahold of him again. So the company shut down on Friday February 24,2023 and did not inform their customers of who we are supposed to send our payments in result to their absence. Also I tried to renew my tags today and was unable to because my car company was not reporting my insurance payments to the state and now I will owe fees and fines and I cant contact anyone to prove that I did have the car insured thru the car company. Seeing that American car center is all over the news and is closed down for good my concern is where do we suppose to make our car payments because there is nowhere to do so!
They are a bunch of scammers and most of their vehicles ain't worth nothing. I was in a desperate need for a vehicle and they told me that I was approved for a certain vehicle. I was paying them $250 every two weeks plus other fees. They kept saying that every time I made a payment that I was still behind. I tried to get information on how much I owe on the car, to my surprise the office is closed. The website is down and they fired everyone. On top of I am still waiting on repairs to be made to my vehicle, Im being charged an extra ***** for insurance (I have full coverage) I am supposed to pay my car note tomorrow someone tell me where?!?!
American ******** is an awful place to purchase a vehicle from they get your money and not able to get your plates for vehicle.
