What a wonderful team I had for my Brest surgery! And it love my surgeon! Dr, Sen Gupta ! Great experience,
I was notified by voicemail that my mom died on Thanksgiving day. I don’t think this is what a hospital should do no matter the pandemic or anything else. I also don’t think the hospital policies and draconian Governor policies are correct of banning visitors. My mom was alone in this hospital for almost 3 weeks and only saw me for 3 hours the day before her death. We pay a lot for healthcare insurance, something is wrong when compassion is not included in it.
RecommendedI had an outpatient procedure at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital on Dec. 1, 2020. I found the nurses in the Preop wonderful as a team. Sarah, Jessie and Sheila Preop Tech were great. Jackie was my OR nurse and my procedure with Dr. Nguyen went smoothly including my anesthesiologist! I woke up to Nicole in Pacu and everyone was so helpful and Juanita came by and too. My best outpatient surgery experience ever. No nausea from anesthesia! Minimal pain and great results! #BionicWoman2020.

I was in antepartum/labor& delivery unit for 2 months. The nurses there were wonderful and took amazing care of me. They went out of their way to give me emotional support, sharing conversations with me so I felt normal and supported. The nurses were calm, helpful and supportive during the scariest and frustrating time of my life. My son had outpatient oral surgery at Shady Grove Adventist yesterday. Although a challenging day for everyone, especially the little patient, every single person we interacted with made it the most positive experience possible. From the fun lady who checked us in and loved my son’s shoes, to the nurses who are angels dealing with kids and anesthesia all day, to the amazing anesthesiologist and our wonderful dentist. Thank you for being kind, compassionate, and patient (even with Mom). We appreciate all you do!

To a person, every single doctor, nurse, attendant, maintenance staff, food service, is dedicated not only to giving you excellent care, but making sure you are regarded, cared for, and interacted with with, as a valuable and worthwhile person. the care I have gotten is excellent! when I was brought in, I was literally at death's door, incoherent, in pain, and frightened out of my wits. they got control of me, figured out the problem, and literally saved my life. after that they have taken great care to make sure my recovery... read more

About Last Night... Worst experience in any ER dept I ever had. Dirty facilities, uncaring, rude nurses, that spend more of their time chatting and laughing that taking care of patients... MERSA infested makeshift rooms, not prepared to attend patients, having taken a row of supply rooms and mop and broom dilapidated closets, stuffing into them a stretcher, basically taking the whole closet room...
