this has been absolutely the worst hospital stay imaginable, the doctors are nowhere to be found , and the nurses are the absolute worst bunch of untrained individuals I've ever encountered. I wouldn't bring someone here to die!
Recommended5 STARS: I gave birth to my son at Shady Grove via c-section and although I was nervous about the procedure, I felt so safe and cared for by staff and the surgical team and nurses, the entire time. From the moment I checked in I was treated with kindness and they were sure to keep me informed on every step. Didn’t have a bad experience with the hospital itself but with the doctor who works in that hospital and did my surgery a few months ago. First I believed he has done a good job as he mentioned that million times after the surgery but now after several months passed I have different issues and needed to follow up with this Doctor at his office but he refused to see me and have sent me a letter to take my chart within 30 days and he doesnt even want to follow up in the next 30 days although I am his patient officially for now... read more

Made a referral via Dr. Marissa Leslie to help aid a member of my church for mental health services, and Dr. Leslie was very responsive and efficient. Within 24 hours of making the referral, she ensured that contact was made with this family to secure services. I was 100% satisfied with the way Dr. Leslie helped me to navigate the Behavioral Health & Wellness Services system.
After reading reviews of few others here, it answers my question why the ER was so empty when I was taken there! Clearly not many want to spend endless hours in the ER and then getting dismissed w/o a diagnosis or feeling better! For all the six+ hrs I was in the ER, hardly any patient was admitted while staff just giggled and chatted with each other while me and a few other patients were mostly ignored. I gave birth here and from the time we walked in until the time I was discharged everyone was wonderful! First I had my own 2 nurses to take care of me that I did not have to share with other patients. They were both very kind and knowledgeable. They put me at ease the best that they can.
