Dropped off at the emergency room of Shady Grave at midnight with shortness of breath, arm and jaw pains (sounds like check-off for what???). It is midnight. Led by EMT to a row of metal chairs by the reception, I sit and wait. I ask a passing nurse: any idea what the time table is? The answer: it will be 2-3 before you will be seen. So I went home. I figured, if I have to die, it will be more comfortable to do it at home than on a metal chair with nursing staff stepping on my feet as the walk back and forth and ignore me. T... read more
Hands down THE best experience I've had with a pediatric ward. The ER staff was super nice and knew their stuff. The pediatric staff was just amazing. They treated my 2 year old like he was their own. I can't say enough wonderful things about ALL the staff. Even the maintenance people were good to us.
I had my baby there she was 6 weeks early and needed surgery the Nicu was AMAZING! Loved all of the nurses who took care of my baby :)
This is the worst hospital hands down. If you want false information poor care and terrible treatment well you know where to find them. I don't care if I was bleeding out i'd rather take a risk and make it to holy cross.
Still here still trying to figure out what's wrong I even give them an idea where to look and what fine anyone interested in checking it out. don't waste your time or money here tween the jailhouse food and a mediocre medical staff go to Johns Hopkins or Holy Cross

I recently had back surgery at shady grove and as always I had a great experience. Although I am an employee of Adventist (not the hosp) I'm speaking as a patient. Thank you for the good care!
