Disappointed in the lack of quality of service in the ED. No direction or continuity in care. Beyond excusable waiting time for any type of feedback regarding diagnosis, tests, etc. Huge lack of attention to the patients needs. Lack of coordination and communication between attending staff. Never again-definitely will use Suburban in the future for any type of ER visit.

Honestly , the receptionists are the worst . Doctors are so limited to speak with patiences so you end up at the triage area with the nurse. Some nurses are nice others are not. I wish they would improve their customer service. We paid a lot of money for their service .

Shady Grove's pediatric emergency center's staff do not pride themselves on compassion. If you want nurses who will are unprofessional and have a lack of respect for you as a parent, this is the hospital. I say their emergency unit needs to be run by a new staff. Maybe 2 nurses will give you respect out of 20. The others will gossip and not attend to their patients. It's clear they wish they weren't there. Staff was very helpful and happy to help us anyway they can. The nurses gave us helpful advice about taking care of our newborn as well.

Everything was well organized, clean, and the could not be any kinder. Save this was a far cry from any other visit I have had to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital I'm not sure if it was just the orthopedic wing or all the wings are like this now but if I had to say based on my orthopedic experience it was first class.

I think is one of the best hospitals in the area, the new facility's as well as the staff improved over the years. During the last six years of my Live, I experience good treatments, and excellent communication with my doctors and draft
