Worst room I've ever stayed in, terrible experience from Nats flying around the room to the customer service I received when I called downstairs to request a room change, the lady at the front desk hung up on me because I was annoyed that she was not understanding what I was explaining to her. I have stayed at this hotel when working in the area multiple times. They go out of their way for guests. This morning I was supposed to stay at ***** * down the road. When I arrived, the very rude lady working for ***** * refuses to check me in even though I showed her my booking receipt and Confirmation #. My boss called Extended Stay and they hurried up and cleaned a room making sure I had a safe and peaceful rest before returning to work. ESA Merriam/Shawnee Mission, KS This property just gets worse & worse with each new GM & property management company in the last 18 months. The managers and maintenance guy (Frank) just walk in and out of rooms with no warning. They threaten to tow your car. They took away trash cans and then threaten to charge you $25 if you don't take your trash to the back of the property to the big dumpster. Booked and paid for a room for 2 nights. Booked and paid for on Oct 7 with check in on Oct 15 at 3pm and check out Oct 17 at 11am. Pre called on Oct 15 at 2:oopm (an hour before check in) to let them know my son, his wife and my 2 grandsons (aged 5 and 4yrs) would be there around 8pm and was told they had NO ROOMS and that YES, they had OVERBOOKED and EVEN though they had charged my card, they would do NOTHING and I should check with Booking,com to see if they would find me somewhere else, the manager did not care at this ho... read more

I am appalled by the conditions in this extended stay. I am a nurse and booked this hotel for a week while working in town. I did the advanced rate purchase online so felt stuck when I got here and walked into the worse hotel I’ve ever been to. Not only do I feel incredibly unsafe, but the room is extremely gross. There are roaches, the water doesn’t get hot at all, there are stains on my bed, I don’t even want to attempt to cook in the kitchen because of the lack of sanitation, and there are large stains all over the carpet... read more

I was very disappointed in my recent stay at this hotel. The room was not clean (nor appeared to have been cleaned before we checked into it) and there were roaches in the kitchenette area. I tried several times to get the front desk to address the issue, but they never sent anyone to come to the room to address it or offer to move us. My wife made a reservation for my son (age 22) to stay at Extended Stay Hotel for a month. Upon arrival with my wife (she and I were paying for the room) were informed that my son's ID was needed to stay in the room. His ID was stolen over a month prior after he was assaulted, and he'd not yet had it replaced. However, we were able to produce a full color photocopy (front and back) because we keep them for all valuables (e.g. credit cards, ID's, etc.). My stepsister stayed at the Horsham location for a week due to her circumstances. But the lady Megan at the front desk had such a nasty disposition and and unprofessional behavior she actually told my mom and stepsister that she was running out of patience trying to help them. While standing in the laundry room, a large dog with a leash (no owner attached) came and jumped on me three times before the owner came and took him away. I have been traumatized by dogs in the past and needed a moment to collect myself, so I closed the door to the laundry room. Two workers from the front desk were there, one said she was the manager.
