The hotel manager said that its not uncommon for the room service to begin vacuuming at 2am. I said its not usual that people would stay at a hotel to experience sounds coming from the hallway and being staff. We pay good money to sleep in a hotel for travel and this is the expectation they think guest should except. The manger should find another job for a poor excuse and not even offer an apology for the inconvenience. Extended Stay America needs to find a better policy for daily cleaning.

The actual living area is more than sufficient and the view of a pond across the street is pleasant. What is truly amazing is the toilet. The issue with the toilet wouldn't bother a woman, but I'm a guy. I'm 75 years old and I have NEVER encountered a toilet like this AND every room in this hotel has the same toilet. When I sat on the toilet seat to do ****, the seat was so low that my p**** touched the water! TOUCHED THE WATER!! The room was extremely filthy to the point one could not tell the real color of the rug. The area w/o the rug was also dirty and sticky, very disgusting. Same with the bathroom, filthy everywhere. On the first day, we crossed the street to the mall to buy 2 sets of sheets because we did not feel comfortable sleeping on the ones provided by the hotel. **************** was poor, I called the front desk to request a new set of towels and the gentleman had the audacity to ask me to come and pick them up myself and I had to bring... read more

Terrible experience...had my vehicle towed while parked in their parking lot...thought my car was stolen they hand me a card for a tow company as I'm not the first victim...no breakfast or coffee as advertised...just all around horrible

This hotel total mess. I had reservation for 11 night but I had to leave the hotel on the 9th day because of bed bugs. Besides the bed bugs air conditioning was too loud. When it works sound was flying helicopter inside the room. I couldnt sleep well. Please stay away from this hotel. They dont care the customers.

First and last time at this hotel/chain. We had a reservation for 5 nights and decided to leave after the first one. They claim to offer enhanced cleaning, our room had the garbage can full of garbage from the people staying before us, we found a bone and a piece of food covered in mold underneath the bed and the floor was filthy, it even had marks of spilled liquid, not mopped in between stays. When I mentioned this to the manager, she said she would make a note, never offered to send someone to clean, or at the very least ... read more

Highly exploitative poverty pimps who give you the run around to obscure what they're going to price ***** you with. Cops, the *** network, the Meth traffickers, human traffickers and car thieves rely on these motels to take advantage people in dire straights, take them for what they are worth then dispose of them at the worst possible moment. In a whole the entire building needs renovation. Lacking respectable management that knows how to communicate with guests let alone fellow employees without being rude and disrespectful. Dog f**** everywhere. Pests on the premises. Mildew and leaking pipes On and off broken elevator. Only thing practical keeping things afloat is the housekeepers and the single maintenance who do their best considering the tasks at hand. Only reason it gets a star. Rude and disrespectful Manager "****."I stayed at Extended Stay Ft. Lauderdale/Tamarac location. I was inquiring about my perks/rewards that I signed up for, however,when I logged in my history nor past history was visible. I was speaking with ***** the front desk clerk as **** rudely and disrespectful attitude intervened in our conversation.
