The only problem I had with this facility was the parking....the Houston facility (Michael DeBakey) has valet parking for all the Vets, you do not need a handicap placard or tags to use valet parking.
The parking situation is absolutely ridiculous. People parked on sidewalks. On the grass. Can't get through some parking lots due to cars parked in the way. Care is good. Staff is excellent.
Happy to see the picture of our new President in the main entrance. But, you could have chosen a better one. He has a very angry face in that one. Hope to see a new one on next visit.
Still not over misdiagnosis which cost our David his voice and breathing apparatus. It's been a long road, but I love our David so mych, his strength has been my strength. Bless him.
Unfortunately it is par for the course at the VA. I showed up at 5:45am for labs at 6:00 and was number 30 in line. Waited till 8:00 am for my appointment. I went to ask the lady sitting at the desk if I was in the right place and before I could open my mouth, she states (very rudely) "Have a seat sir, I'm not checking anyone in." She was just right out rude. They started checking people in at 8:00am. I didn't see the doctor until about 9:15 and only saw him for 3 minutes. Horrible service. Just wish it was in a better side of town like in north Dallas . But it is nice and the after hours on the weekends for MRI's are fantastic
I have always been treated with the best care and respect. I know that's a two way street, maybe anyone who's having problems may need to consider that. The only problem I've had is parking, so now I park at a train station and ride the train. Problem solved!
Had a 10:00am Appointment it has ben 2 hrs and they tell me that they are still working on the 9:00am
We haven't had any trouble with my dads appointments. But I can say we use the valet since there's like never a parking spot. But the valet closes at one and they have not enough men working it. Please extend the hours and put more guys on. For people who have afternoon appointments it's hard. Or put in a parking garage
