Very pleased with what the VA has done for me have been in the system for 2 years now and no complaints my primary is great
Upset at the "Man dressed as a woman" using the Ladies bathroom. He is not a transgender. If he is he is doing a bad job at it. Even being dressed as a female he looks like a man. Sounds like a man. I am sorry but I about had a heart attack when he walked out of a stall not washing his hands and right out the door. I do not appreciate men using the Ladies bathroom. I have to say truly if it wasn't for the Dallas VA I would not be alive today. Being service-connected when I lost my job due to illness I would have lost my life from no insurance and medications. All and all on a scale of 1 to 10 my complete experience with the Dallas VA over the last 5 years I give it an 8. Some ups and Downs, but nobody's perfect. The majority of the staff show respect and pride in their work leaving you with that brotherly love feeling. Thank you Dallas VA.
The VA is a good hospital,but there's so many veterans that sometimes it takes a little longer for service,I'm please with their service when it comes to my husband.Just needs more capacity for our veterans but other than that ,i love it.
I have no problem with the caretakers at the VA. They are wonderful. Gave my husband the best care in the world. However, the volunteers could use a little more tact. I asked for a newspaper and was informed that he was only supposed to give them to those flat on their backs. My husband did not have his reading glasses so he and I discussed what was in the paper. My experiences with the Dallas VA has been very good. We have used the back parking lot . It is a Rock parking lot. It has shuttle buses that come around every five minutes and it has shelter for people to wait in. All of my appointments have went very well
I constantly have problems getting appointments. No one knows what the other is doing and a lot of times, they don't care. I am of the age that I can attempt to fight through the BS that is dished out. I am fighting the fight for the the WW I I, Vietnam Veterans who can't. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. It takes 2.5 hours to get to the Dallas VA on a good day and only during the middle of the day, why am I being given the run around to use the Choice Option? The WORST Veteran healthcare available. Be early to your appointment so you can wait TWO hours past the time to see the doc. Parking sucks. Need to make a claim? FORGET IT, instant denial. Have benefits from another state? Move to Texas and lose them. Need an exact answer to a denial? FORGET IT, all you get is NO. Need to call a CBOC or the VA? Been coming here with my husband since August '16. He is currently admitted and receiving chemo treatments. They services here has been excellent! Not perfect but for most staff has been very courteous and attentive. Really appreciate the care.
