I frequently receive care at this facility . It is usually pretty adequate care . I have no complaints so far. My expectations are usually meant .
Patients waiting to be seen and we are told it's going to be a while because everyone is over there eating get sweet Georgia Brown for a retirement luncheon.....really!!!!! That's FUCKING UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
As a hospital I'm satisfied, but the staff sometimes are very rude but nothing that can't be fixed
The best care I have ever received and I have been to many Drs and hospitals in the last 15 yrs. started going to the VA 2 yrs ago and am very impressed. I am always being seen at my appt time and they are very thorough. I have 2 surgeries in there in last two years and both have been great. My prescription are sent to me every month and never delayed. Can't say enough good stuff about the Dallas VA
As a hospital I am satisfied with the care I have received. Living more than 50 miles away I appreciate the services that are available at the Fisher House, as I stayed in the hospital, the VA took care of my family. But as a lodger of the guest house which is like hotel accommodations in the hospital.. I am disappointed in their attention to details. The PM&R actually took my husband right on time! This was his first appointment at Dallas and he loved the helped he recieved. A huge change from the Long Beach VA. I just wish everyone in the waiting room was seen as quickly as my husband. Some of the others had been waiting well over 30 mins past their appt. times.
I always get the best of care when I'm at the Dallas VA.
I have been there several times because my pain levels were thru the roof. I was told to go to ER. Each time I would wait in pain 4-5 hours, only to be given a shot of Toridol and "see your primary care doctor". It's not worth my time. Poor service. Every time.
They take care my husband pretty good most of the time I have had same problem this time though he has been really confused this time around I'm worrying that they are giving him the right med.will be up there tomorrow to see the doctor and or director because I want them to take care of this as soon as possible so I can bring my husband home
