My father, a 30-year veteran, has fallen nine times in the last eight weeks and needs a motorized wheelchair/scooter. His primary care physician told him to call Dallas VA. The VA told him he will not get a wheelchair until October because there is a waitlist. THIS IS MAY! So he needs to fracture a pelvis before the VA cares to help him? Some thank you for his career of service.

The staff at this place corners the market on rude!!! They should be ashamed at how they represent this hospital! The operator has one job to do and she's failing miserably, and has the compassion of moron!

Racism is at an all-time high at the Dallas VAMC. BLACKS are treated horribly compared to WHITES. BLACK police officers are fired for alleged misconduct while WHITE police officers clear misconduct is ignored and often results in a PROMOTION. Executive Leadership is led by a RACIST. Police Service Administration is led by a RACIST ASSISTANT. 2020 and there is no BLACK police officer in Administration. This should be INVESTIGATED.
This facility allows it's employees to use Facebook at work and live stream / broadcast video of their patients to the entire world. I called up to report this and the operator there said I was stupid and rude and refused to even let me report the complaint. When I called urgent care nobody even picked up. Disgusting. I will post an image of the employee doing this below:
