*I have been a patient @ the North Texas VA Hospital in Dallas, TX. for 10 yrs now. 1 out of 5 Stars. I could write a "book" about this place!!! This past May, I had to go to a "private Hospital ER"...they did a CT Scan with contrast dye & just happened to find that I have a 4.6 cm Aortic Aneurysm. I took the image disc & ER report to my VA Clinic Doctor and he found a 7 year old CT Scan in my records that showed I had that Aneurysm...it was about 4.0 cm in size 7 yrs. ago...NOBODY TOLD ME! When a doctor finds an Aneurysm 3.... read more

Everyone is super friendly from the time you walk from the parking lot to your appointment. I had a wonderful experience with the Dallas main hospital women's clinic nurse practitioner in Gyn surgery. She was excellent. I only wanted a female and the male gyn doctor actually listened to my concerns and cares about making it better for women. Theyve got some improving to do, but all of the ladies that work there and the male Gyn are just lovely kind people. This is the kindest VAMC I've ever been to where everyone working the... read more

This V.A. will NOT notify the veterans of policy changes that directly affect them. The V.A. changes the need to schedule labs prior to appointments.. this causes veterans to waste valuable resources for no reason. If the veteran were to think about changing something, we have to jump through hoops and BETTER make sure we notify well in advance, yet will still get yelled at for doing so.

My husband has had significant decrease in his cognitive abilities, something different we have tried for two years to get help, only told nothing is wrong. We did finally get an apt for a neurologist after two years of telling doctors something else is going on. Waiting to go

They always take very good care of my warrior AND always keeps me as his wife in the loop and cares for my well being as well. They also took good care of my dad as I walked through 10years of Cancer care with him all way up to his admission to VA hospice home, where he passed away. The care and respect they showed him while preparing him for transportation was above expectations 🇺🇸

I was assaulted by a mental health specialist who put his hands on me and caused me to put my health on hold. Responsible people are not present at this facility. Be careful of who and what you do here.

A patient who was recently admitted for transient ischemic attack was prescribed echocardiogram and confined to the facility for considerably more than 72 hours between the time the test was ordered and the time the test was completed. Other VAHCS systems would have ensured the ECG was performed in a more timely manner, including VA Boston HCS. This medical administration service branch performs substandard to what is needed and may be responsible for mayhem and manslaughter in a number of cases
