Grateful. A small word for all the care given over the years to my father, Dr. Jesse K. Moon, Air Force vet from Korean War. Thank you to each doctor, nurse, team member of the Dallas VA. Thank you to the VA Hospice team, who cared for him (and us) during his last days, with such dignity and love. Grateful for the family housing available to us during those last days to help us stay close. Dad passed away in 2017, but today I was reminded and wanted to say “thank you.”
The Operators are quite rude most days, and the Specialty Care Clinics do not answer the phones. Women's healthcare continues to be minimized down to one exam room now for the entire facility and it has become increasingly difficult to have refills sent to the Pharmacy for medications you have been on for extended periods of time. The Grand Prairie location has a completely inept Doctor who I have filed a complaint against and from my limited experience at Fort Worth Orthopedics, they are not any better.

I have always received good care
Can someone direct me where children are not allowed at appointments? Single parent Veterans can’t just pull a babysitter from no where when VA is who has to re schedule your appointments? VA does not pay for child care so what do I do with my child?!
Worst experience in the ER, ever! Dr. Gaster is a joke. I’ve been going to this VA for 15 years, and he’s, by far, the most uncaring doctor I’ve ever had. I was there for over 6 hours. It was my second visit in 3 weeks, as my cough has gotten so bad that it’s hurting my back, head, and chest, and I can’t sleep. Coughing to the extent that I was throwing up.
