Recommended12/14 pharmacy fail. Wait 2 hrs for pain meds for broken leg (12/11 so fresh fracture) to find out they are going to mail them to me. Left in tears.
This VA is trash, particularly Clinic 11. 1. I haven't seen my primary care physician in over a year. It's been either a contractor or a nurse practitioner. 2. Talking to the VA employees is like talking to a wall. 3. Put some proper signage on your IT systems that you shut down for COVID-19 instead of just making them appear to be typical busted government IT systems. The location is a joke! I called a head because I needed my blood work done and explained I’d be there around 15 minutes before operations hours ended. Yet when I raced from Richardson to this location in Dallas, I found NO staff at the department. after knowing I was on the way they closed early. Absolutely ridiculous.
Typical veteran healthcare. Covid has not helped. Lots of patients especially during poor economic times. Main campus facility is running out of space. Have opened several new offsite campuses. Parking is still an issue even after constructing several new multilevel parking garages (staff should be mandated to fill parking garages), leaving close in parking for veterans.
they only care about meeting requirements so they don't get in trouble. not the patients needs. how could a nurse practioner talk about brain tumor and me feel comfortable about it.
They are the worst Va I've been to since 1992! Caring for Vets is not what they do, caring less is!!! They cheat you out of travel pay, if you have all day appointments where you have to fast they won't even pay you for a simple meal. The Staff act like they're doing You a favor with nasty attitudes, I couldn't even get a simple teeth cleaning from them, so please find another Va and save youself the frustration and headache!
