I was out of town recently and my tenants called ARS as their a/c had stopped working. It had a bad capacitor. The capacitor costs $20 and less than 1/2 hour is need to change it out. ARS charged $435 ! This is extortion. It is not as if this is an unknown company ARS is an approved ********** vendor. Shame on them

ARS installed a brand new Carrier system into our ******** 2009-built house less than two weeks ago, after the previous system failed. Since then, this new system has failed no fewer than five times, necessitating urgent service tech visits, as we have a toddler and its the hottest time period in recordable history. The coils freeze, and it ceases cooling. The techs have not resolved the problem. He is a rip off. Bought my unit year and a half ago thermostat stopped working charge me $140 to come out and try to charge me another $450 for a thermostat that cost only $80 at Lowes. I paid over ****** for my unit Thermostat last a year and a half do not trust them. Their word is no good. They keep calling wanting to do a tuneup and charge me not gonna happen. Ill get someone else.

Stay away from this company. Since my ac mini splits were installed it has been a nightmare. My units aren't working. Very unprofessional. I've called customer service a million times only to be told to wait for a manager to call me back because it's only 1 person handling emails.

I had a service scheduled with Aksarben ARS heating and air and they did something that I didnt really think companies did anymore. BAIT and SWITCH! They flat out lied to me. I scheduled a preventative maintenance for my a/c system because I was lead believe it was such a great deal. I had a PM scheduled with another company but the cost seemed somewhat excessive, so I thought I would shop around a little. I would never use this company again, after spending over $23,000 with over the last 2/3 years they totally ripped me off last night. I called yesterday about one of the thermostats not working properly and was told by the woman scheduling that her paper work showed that it should have been covered under warranty, then set up the appointment for 5:00 last night. The service man came by at about 5:45 and did some testing the Honeywell t6 pro smart thermostat ( runs about $120.00 ) and said it had to be replaced. He than broug... read more

I was very pleased with ARS/Rescue Rooter. They came out a couple of hours after my initial call, ***** set up and went to work. He explained what he was doing, , and what he he was finding. The camera technician was very, very thorough and detailed as to the how and what we were seeing, and possible solutions. The cost(s) were reasonable, and less than I expected. Thanks, guys.
