U Haul breached our contract together on a local rental. I had been renting a panel van from August to December 2021. I had a contract that was issued until December 24th, 2021 but they breached the contract and I had to return the vehicle on December 17th, 2021. I was already in a current contract that was until December 17th, 2021 but received a phone call from the representative 3 days prior stating that I had to return it the next day. If I could leave zero stars I would. I rented a car hauler through them. I returned it the same day I rented it. However, nobody ever checked it in. I was charged $800 over what I was quoted. Called the corporate office and had it corrected. Now almost 2 weeks after the fact I wake up and once again was charged $800. I would highly not recommend using this company.

I went to day to get propane an I was refused to have any for what reason I dont understand. 2 people come out an just started talking telling me dont go in an what do you want propan I said yes but they just started telling me to get it out of truck turn truck off then told me to leave. Then I told them I have made complaints before at this location but they did care then they locked the propane ** in went back in the store. I think them 2 employees need to be pulled to the side in talk to bad .

After reading all these comments I am glad I am suing Uhaul moving and storage. My experience is the same or very similar to the unsatisfied customers who wrote reviews here on the BBB website. My experience started with renting Uboxes in one city. That was a complete nightmare. Then I rented a storage unit in the new city I moved to. That was nightmare number two. I will never use this company again. They think it's okay to steal money from customers. I rented a 10' truck from U-Haul online. I was supposed to get a furniture dolly which I only wanted because I wasn't going to have any help.. When I picked the truck up there was no furniture dolly in the back of my truck. I had a guaranteed reservation I get to location second time of this location that the truck is not available and then come to find out they have another truck that they didn't want to tell me about just sitting in the lot for someone else even though they had a guaranteed reservation for me.

I had a ubox shipped from ** to the ***** heights uhaul facility. My first mistake was using uhaul and if I could I would give them a negative rating but that's not an option. With the transfer I get text and email my box arrived at the said location so I go over on a weekend to retrieve it, first they didn't know where it was, second I was informed I had to give 24 hour notice I was coming. After dropping off the truck during the appropriate hours listed on the contract I noticed there wasn't anyone to check in the equipment to ensure I wasn't charged a late fee. This was at the ***** street location in ***********. No worries, I called the customer service number and was assured that because I gotten the items there on time that the fee would not be assessed. They auction off private, deceased family members, all my work supplies(caregiver), computer and etc. My family private and personal items are in some strangers possessions. Family photos. My entire ******************* a flash. Plus still have a negative balance.
