Horrible business. Booked weeks in advance only for them to text me one day before my scheduled date that the equipment was no longer available. This is a matter of moving out of an apartment and I absolutely canNOT change the date. Ridiculous lack of service and care. I will never go with this company again. Be warned.

No guarantee you will get a truck even if you reserve it. Went to a different location to pick up the moving truck at noon. After the whole process, went to do the walk around of the truck and it had a large crack in the windshield. Went back in to tell them. They told me they dont have another truck to offer me. They called to find another one and finally found one. Had to drive over an hour one way to pick up the truck and an hour back! The whole delay was over 3 hours! I had elevators booked. Giving UHaul a one star is too many, U Haul has the WORST customer service. Please do not rent anything from them. I reserved a trailer a month ago to move our son down south (12 hours away) got a text day before with location to pick ** in our local city. An hour after that text another text came with location changed to a city three hours north of us for pick up the next day which was not convenient as we were loading up the next day to drive 12 hours south to take our son to school. Outraged is an understatement. Please make a concerted effort to not utilize this company, and here is why. U-Haul called me the morning of my truck pick up to tell me they are shortening my rental time... I'm slotted to pick up the truck at 6:45 PM...., they want it back 12:45 in the afternoon the next day.... 8 hours of that rental I will be sleeping and then work I can not miss in the morning. They had emailed me confirming the 24 hour rental, Stated in the email that someone would call me to confirm by 8/25 (never did), ... read more
