Reserved a 4x8 days in advance, arrived and they only had a 5x8 trailer and the business was closed the next day so we had to take it or get nothing. Called Uhaul and they wanted us to drive over an hour each way to swap out the 5x8 for the 4x8. When I explained we did not have time to do that the day before we needed to leave town, the customer service person disconnected the call- hung up on me. All of the horrible reviews are accurate when dealing with their corporate team.

If I can give this Location a "Zero" Rating, I would! I have been utilizing Uhaul for all of my moving needs for as long as I could remember, but this last experience with this Uhaul was an eye opener that you get what you get for, and in this case is an inexperienced Management Team, and not the employees, but definitely the Manager on this particular day. I the u haul located at ********************************** I rented a box truck and had left my vehicle at the store. My vehicle was broken into and the workers didnt do anything to assist me. I called the headquarters ****************** They didnt do anything to fix my vehicle or anything of the things that was stolen. I have a police report and pictures which I sent to *******************************. I really need my vehicle fix I cant drive it.

This is the worst customer service representatives I've ever seen. I interacted with 7 different people who gave me 7 different explanations for not reserving a vehicle that they promised. Then they had me driving back and forth to the office ensuring to me that all has been corrected. This NEVER happened. Their sorry attitudes were nauseating and caused me to not be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I will NEVER use U-Haul moving for anything anymore. After reading the reviews it seems too common - I reserved a truck way in advance to move out of state and they called two days before I was supposed to pick it up to say the truck isnt available at that location. They indicated a truck was available 30 minutes away, and while I wasnt happy about it, I accepted. Then, the day before I was supposed to pick up the truck and received ANOTHER call indicating the was no longer available at THAT location. I made U-Haul reservation on September 16 for pickup on October 30 at *************************************** of a twenty-foot truck for one-way rental to **************, ****.The reservation was for a 20-foot one-way truck for 4 days and 804 miles, including Safemove and Safetrip damage coverage for $77.00. I also rented 24 furniture pads for $20.00, a utility dolly for $10.00, and an appliance dolly for $12.00. The subtotal came out to $1,874.00. Uhaul is the most unreliable, unscrupulous horrible company in the US. They lie whenever anyone picks up the phone-which is never. They never have the equipment promised, send their customers on wild goose chases-they add enormous amounts of stress to already stressful situations. Avoid this company completely.
