How can I be forced to leave a one star when they deserve zero. Our family rented a U-Haul 26ft truck from ***********, ** to ******** and it nearly killed me and my family. They knowingly gave ** a truck with faulty breaks that leaked out and could of killed us. After contacting U-Haul they chose to do nothing. Im deeply disappointed and need to make renters aware. I usually rent from Budget and should have stuck with them. At least they would have not put our lives on the line knowingly. Please be AWARE!!

If I could give them a minus it would be a -10 Hears my 2 Nightmare episode with in a week.I'd first like to make it known that I've been (at least until now )a loyal customer of ********************** for over 35years In ***************** Side.My Nightmare started on June 6th 2022 I rented the trailer for the 2nd time due to the first rental reservation ********the roller ***** off and the cable snapped off and were not able to even make a full move.So going back to the 6th of June, I should have known it wouldn't be a good... read more

Ubox by Uhaul Warning!!! Nightmare continues. So we settled on getting a ubox from uhaul for our move from ********* ******* to *********************. It was easy and straight forward I thought and big company, what could possibly go wrong??? I didnt figure that big companies like them dont really care that you are sleeping on the floor and just slap a $50 delay fee and say well we are compensating you on your delay heres $50. Dont care that you need to **** for food or that your basic necessities were packed on those boxes.... read more

I rented a vehicle to pickup in ***********. There were none available and I was informed an agent will call. An agent did not call. I called UHAUL and was told to pick up a vehicle 77 miles away using the mobile app. This did not go well at all. When you are using the mobile app you have to do live verification. They ask you to list (2) alternate so they have alternate numbers in case they need to contact you. Well they seem to conduct a background check using the number you give. They are horrible!! This was uhaul in ******* *******. They delivered my 2 containers to my condo and my TV was damaged as soon as I opened the container doors my tv was already on the side of door in between the door and the boxes. It flew out and broke from inside. When you plug it in millions of cracks. I report it and I get a respond as oh put a claim in and of course their insurance company Did deny my claim. Be warned. DONT USE UHAUL. I booked really early (2 months) to ensure a close location (within ******** where they have lots of locations) They then had me drive 80 miles to get the truck. 80 MILES EACH WAY. It took me 6 extra hours (had to rent a car, drive to the 80 miles to the pickup spot, taxi to the car rental place to return the car and then drive 80 miles back so I could start loading the truck). When are you going to address the numerous customer issues that are occurring at the ********************** ********************************* **************** location. I just rented a truck there and was over billed for the mileage. How does 38 miles become 171 miles when I drove from the location to ******************* in *********** and back. Uhaul messed up my reservation 3 times. Once on the original reservation when I changed my payment method and the truck was randomly removed from my reservation. The second time they reserved the wrong time. The third they reserved a truck that wasn't available. The second and third times were both within 12 hours of my original reservation time. We booked a 26-foot truck 7 weeks ago for a move from ******* to the maritimes. One day before our moved were being told that only a 20-foot truck is available! We are willing to compromise by adding a trailer but we keep getting hung up on by uhaul representatives. This is completely unacceptable! To leave your customers high and dry like this is atrocious!
