I ordered a 20 foot truck for a cross country move from UHaul. At no point during my booking experience was I informed that my truck size may be subject to change. I was told that only the location was subject to change, a fact I confirmed twice during the booking process. My daughter rented U-Haul and went online to extend her time. That is what she was told to do by store and the automated system for U-Haul instructs the customer to extend the ********************** online if you wish to do so. They don't know keep the word tell if you pay this price you can have all your stuff. They told me I can have all my stuff for $200.00 went I get money I back on to the 6/6/2022 One employee was very rude. I was the person who help out in the field and then called back the was on vacation.

I had two friends rent a u-haul to move my stuff to **************. Halfway through the trip they noticed the floor getting ********** seeming to open and the steering was off. This continued to get worse as they got closer. U-haul sent a mechanic the following morning and he looked at the vehicle. It was leaking steering fluid and he validated the other issues with the truck and said its not driveable back. I had to fly them back home... On June 25th I rented a 26' truck to move in my new home. I've had the worst customer experience every and have used ********************** in the past. My first pain was me reserving the truck a week in advance only to be called and told I wouldn't be able to pick up from the desired location that was close to my old and new home I had to go out of my way to pick up the truck. My father passed. I was restoring a vintage car at his shop in NH. Living in Western ** it was a real think on how to retrieve the car. TERRIBLE. I wish I could give less than 1 star. We are set to move tomorrow and today learn that we have to pick up our truck at a different location. We are located in *******, and now have to go to *********** IN to pick up the truck. I find it shocking that they can change our reservation THE *** BEFORE A MOVE. UHaul is HORRIBLE!I reserved a Uhaul box and 3 days before my move I got a call stating that the box would not be available to me! This literally puts me in THE WORST position as I now have to take time off work to find another way to move my stuff 3 days before I am supposed to be out of my place and will cost me thousands of dollars to get a last minute shipping company to handle my stuff.
