I am disgusted with uhaul as of today. I was charged 5 times at ****** for a truck that i never took. I am beyond mad at uhaul for their system glitching. I have called customer care and they cannot do anything about it because it is on hold. And the credit card company cannot do anything about it until it is posted. The one woman on the phone said "i havent seen the system do this before and i have been here 2 years".

Reserved a large truck to move. Its not available. Offered a smaller truck for MORE money. They did offer more miles so I could make multiple trips. If Im not out of my house in time, I lose rental income.

If you have belongings and furniture that you value, I would NOT entrust their care with U-Haul.Im speaking from experience. Moving can be a very stressful time with lots of moving parts and decisions.We originally went with the competition PODS everything went smoothly with PODS the containers were clean and solidly put together to secure the contents. THE LOCATION WAS NOT THE ISSUE!! ******** Lumber was great and very helpful!! The problem was with U-HAUL company itself and this online reservation system. I had a reservation for a truck that was not at that location and hadn't been. Bait and Switch. I made a guaranteed reservation for a 10 truck to move my son from ******** to ******* for ********************* As Im on my way to pick up the truck ********** ****** ** calls to tell me they dont have the truck and send me to another location. Our U-Haul vehicle rental was at the York, ** facility on ********* Avenue. The rental vehicle obviously had not been washed in quite a long time. The windshield was so dirty and unsafe that I used the *************** from my personal car to clean the windshield. Booked a move with uhaul supplying the movers and ended up having to leave over $1000.00 in grills in ******* because the young kids they sent had absolutely no idea how to pack a truck. Worst thing Ive ever done, I was on a time crunch so I couldnt unload and reload.
