I reserved a cargo van using my credit card online. When I got to the location, I was told that though the van was available, I would not be allowed to rent it because the address on my driver's license was not within city limits. I have two properties, both of which are in the same county, but one is about 30 minutes outside of the city in question. The corporate of U-haul. Take money from clients without providing service. In civilized nation like ours. A corporate can and will steal money from clients and deny the service or even allow clients to speak up or file a complaint. Once I reached the corporate office, i was told to just leave and forget what you paid for. Bottom line is i rented a storage and I can't access it. So my goods are trapped at a place i paid for and I can't access them. So they take my money and my goods.

Don't know how you can improve but from the experience I just had renting this truck from U-Haul there is a definite need for improvement. This location was allright. The problem I had was nobody could get my reservation correct and I was sent to four different locations to get the truck I wanted. I made a reservation to pick up a 26 ft truck at 9am in Orange and left home at 3 am to find the system was down and couldn't get the truck. I ordered a '27 truck to facilitate my move out of an apartment in Halifax, ***********. The Uhaul representative confirmed the truck was available three days prior to the pickup date. These people have no idea what their doing, I specifically asked for a cargo trailer to go out of state and drop off at a different location out of state so when the day to go pick the trailer comes they come out with a box trailer A DAY BEFORE I need to go out of state and say that they cant rent cargo trailers for out of state travel when they told me on the phone they could. The service manager needs to be FIRED and everyone under them. Clearly U-Haul doesnt educate their employees on their own company policies.

Terrible service, scheduled a reservation for a car hauler trailer. The day before was told there are none available within 120 miles of my area and there's nothing they could do. I would have to drive to pick it up myself, and then they said it might not even be available when I get there!What's the point of scheduling a reservation if they won't accommodate you?It's a shame there's not other rental places in my area.

I rented a U-haul on Friday 5/5/23 so I could move my daughter s stuff out of her college dorm.
