We booked a stay with Springhill Suites San Diego Downtown/Bayfront and we were all very excited to stay there initially, however, that quickly changed once we got inside our room. With Covid going on, we had hoped this type of Hotel would be dotting their I's and crossing their T's when it comes to cleanliness but we were wrong. The pictures for each specific room and the description of the ocean view rooms are inaccurate, deceitful, & misleading. Ocean view actually means you'll be looking out the balcony seeing a brick building and partial ocean view stepping off of the balcony. I spoke to a few reps and they all agreed that the picture and name was misleading. I was told that although incorrect pictures were shown for the room we picked that I should've picked ocean front to get the view shown for ocean view. I was told I got the tol. They set my rewards after living there for months due to home repair they set up my reward card the company refuses to help me log into my account but they "see" my account. I have not been able to use my points after my insurance gave them over 20K for me to live in a hotel that wasn't all that great to began with. I want them to give me the correct information to get my points they refuse to help me

Airport parking:Very easy to make parking reservations and happy with the price. Parking lot was hard to find, arriving at Marriott hotel there were no instructions on where to go, who to pay, where specifically to park..nothing. Then they let the panders and scam artist on the shuttle. They create and emergency and ask for cash. The gentleman scammed me out of $40. Very noisy HVAC. Kept us awake. Microwave oven found on the floor. Had to move it to the countertop to use. Terrible Sanitation issues DO NOT STAY HERE ! My wife and I booked a studio suite room for three nights for a quick "relaxing" getaway. It was anything but. On arrival we learned we would staying in separate building across the street from the main building. Not a big issue.
