This review is for TownePlace Suites Charleston-North Charleston, SC. This was the worst night of my life. I reached there with my family and kids around 11:30 PM on Feb 18, 2022, after 5 hours of drive. The receptionist was so rude and unprofessional, she said we don't have any room for you. we are oversold. I told her that I have confirmation for reservation, and it is already paid. I've been a Marriotts rewards member six plus years and they have treated me as if I'm nothing when I call with ANY concerns! I travel on business for a living and chose their hotels as I average 100 plus days a year. I called back in January to make a reservation for my daughter who's in law school in San Antonio TX. There was a winter storm that occurred and she lost power and water so I called to make a reservation and added my daughter to it so she can check in without my presence. A review of the hotel without the shady billing would be a 3/5. However when looking at my debit card statement, I was surprised to see approximately $700 "pending transaction" on my card several days later despite having already paid my bill of approximately $300. Said bill had already been paid and processed by my bank. I spoke with their customer rep who said it should be removed in another 4-7 business days. To my knowledge I never agreed to this. I do not plan on staying with them again.

got hired at marriot and a few weeks later they fire me why did nothing wrong apparently I posted on Tik tok during work hours 3 times lies first time was told that it was work hour while it was exactly my time to leave I just stayed a few minutes after my time to leave and decided to make a tik tok since that’s what I do, second time was told I posted a video of me drunk while I was sick if the boss looked at it a little more she would have seen that was a draft from the past and 3rd time was my lunch time….of course nobody... read more

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE THIS HOTEL WILL SCAM YOU!!!!! 1st my husband and I stayed the right off was a red flag we had to pay a $500 deposit. We always stay at the one in North Huseborne and never had a problem. The deposit out there is only $100. This hotel proceed to charge us $250 for smoking and WE DID NOT SMOKE ON THE ROOM AT ALL. We spoke to the manager on call and stated he heard there was a smell in the room. When we got there the halls smelled like marijuana. I was in the process of booking a room on the Marriott app for which I did not have enough points to cover. Then I was prompted to purchase points for this booking. I clicked on it thinking that there would be another page or prompt that would give me more information regarding the price of the points purchase so that I could decide whether or not I wished to proceed. Made a reservation at Residence Inn by Mariott located in Center City, Philadelphia for Christmas through booking.com. The payments for the night were already charged. When we arrived, I gave them my credit card for the deposit as usual and was told that $124 deposit will be returned within 4 - 5 days after check out. It is as of 1/9/2022, I've spoken with 3 reps and still have not received my deposit. No apologies, no explanations and no resolutions.. I will have to file a dispute through my credit card company.

Airport Marriot, Hebron KY- First the good. My stayed at this hotel for one night for business on 12/31. A nice hotel with friendly staff. No issues. The bad- Although the room has been paid for in full prior to her arrival, they took her debt card number for incidentals. Although there were no incidentals, they charged her $166 dollars. After three days off phone calls to try to reach the elusive accountant "Paul" at the hotel, she was assured the charge was an error and would immediately be refunded onto her card. So, since someone took it upon themselves to scrub my review, here we go again! This is in reference to the Mountain View CA Residence Inn.
