I stayed at this location 10/07-10/08. To make a long story short, one of the employees walked in my room just as I had gotten out of the shower. It was a male worker, there was no knock or notification whatsoever about anyone coming in. I still do not know what the employees role was at the hotel. My sister and I weren’t comfortable for the remainder of our stay but due to lack of time since we were there for a conference and were on a tight schedule we regretfully stayed. I was billed for two hotel rooms at the town place suites hotel in Harrisburg Hershey PA for one night.I have a Gmail from that hotel showing that the reservation was cancelled when the reservation person made the reservation at the wrong hotel.I got a hold of Marriott corporate and explained the situation and they said they would not refund the money to the son's of amvetts.everything was recorded by both parties I would like to talk to someone.

In October of 2022, we paid $199 to spend 4 nights and 5 days at the Marriott Ocean Watch Villas in Myrtle Beach, SC. Part of the package was a 90 minute sales presentation inviting us to purchase membership in the Marriott Vacation Club. We were offered an “Encore Package”, costing $1947, consisted of another 4 night stay at the Ocean Watch Villas, and a second 90 minute sales presentation , and a one week Dream Vacation at a resort anywhere in the world. Extremely Rude Doorman & His Security I was completing a delivery for a customer who was staying here for my first time, The doorman & security told me to give them my keys (which I didn’t know what for) so I put on my hazards because I was behind another vehicle who was helping a customer unload. I dropped off my items at the front desk per my customer request as they unload and hurried back to my unattended vehicle. If I could give 0 stars, I would since The Tamarind and Marriott Hotels deserve them! We reserved a room at The Tamarind, a Marriott property in Barbados, for a 5-night stay. The hotel did not appear like the photographs and was quite outdated when we arrived. The tiles were damaged, the air conditioning was leaking, the restaurants were closed, and the food selection was limited. I book a room for my wife and mother in law , the employee at the front desk was rude when they arrived, she also never informed them that there was no hot water , my wife was staying at this hotel because it was close to the hospital her mom was having surgery the next morning. My mother in law took a shower to find out there wasn’t any hot water. My wife then called the front desk to ask if they knew about the hot water situation and the employee at the front desk said yah we’ve had a guy on the room and in the boiler room... read more

Had the worst experience with the front desk of Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel (front desk manager name is Caroline). And as today 9/20/2023, I talked to Marriott online customer service manager and received another bad experience! It seems U.S side of the company has different rules than the ones in China and misleading their U.S. customers. And when problems accrued they are telling different stories. Courtyard by Marriott Covington, KY - Very unsafe experience here. My vehicle, along with 3 others were broken into overnight while parked in their parking garage. Window kicked out and glass everywhere. Nothing of value in the vehicle besides a pair of sunglasses in the sunglass compartment, not laying out visible. I stayed there (Moxy Uptown Minneapolis) because of the Marriott Brand. I am sorry to say this specific hotel is awful! We got bitten by bedbugs within minutes of laying down to watch tv! Those pests were not even shy to be in the light! We got switched to a different room where maybe there were less bugs; however, after 2 more nights I got enough bites to complain again.
