I stayed at Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, TX for a conference. The hotel stay was fine. However at check in, I was required to put a card on file for incidentals and was told it would be released at check out. Since this was an educational conference I attended, the school district I work for was paying for the stay. Upon check out, the hotel applied my incidental hold to cover my room. In regards to confirmation #77009231 I reserved a hotel for July 16 back in May bc I had to go there for a business trip. Was told yesterday I no longer needed to go so I called to get, not a refund, but a credit so I could spend the 732 at another Marriott at another time. Was told the local one don’t do it and was given a 1-800 number to call, which said I had to call the local number, called again only to be told to call the 1-800 number again only to be told to call the local number. We bought a timeshare with Marriott after being lied to for hours about how great and easy it was to use, the incredible availability, and the opportunity to bring family with you to the bigger units. I wish I could give zero stars! My daughter was at girls night here, about 5-7 teenage girls. The night supervisor named "Holly" came to the door accusing them of having a party and of smoking marijuana while she her self had a vape in her hand. They said they would turn down the music and she began to argue with them, as she continued to smoke her vape she began yelling at them and then said she was calling the police. Stay June 23-25, 2023 JW MARRIOTT ORLANDO BONNET CREEK RESORT & SPA My stay at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek was deeply disappointing, and I will never return. I urge others to avoid this resort as well. Snobby customers and front desk staff overshadowed the few pleasant interactions I had with overworked bartenders and a charter bus driver who wasn't even employed by JW Marriott. I wish I could give negative, or ero stars, but this site forces me to give one star. I had 119,00 points expired without warning, no remedy, just free money to Marriott. Nothing they can do. Of course they could reinstate my points, but that is impossible, according to their staff. Worst rewards program ever. Will never stay at a Marriott property again and will advise all others not to.

I booked a reservation with a Marriott, evidently in the fine small print the Resort was under renovations and the beach area of the Resort is eroding away!!! Oddly when I receive the Marriott’s welcome email (evidently this email is sent out to all their guests at a certain timeframe before your actual travel time as a “Welcoming” hello to their property. My experience with them has left me feeling extremely disappointed, frustrated, and taken advantage of. The issue stems from the lies and deceit that took place during a purchase at this establishment. My family and I explained to the female representative at Marriott Fairfield about our disabled daughter's needs and the fact that we were unable to afford the timeshare. I normally been staying with the Marriott chains for the last year or longer. Making it more of a habit to choose them. I normally give the hotel my rewards number and Marriott chains credit card for billing. Normally they send out a email with my receipt that day. I had to leave in a rush that morning around 4:30am.
