Canadians beware! We got turned back by Ana and Manager Mike after a 14 hour drive from Canada.Ana insisted the hotel put a hold for the entire amount on our credit card plus previously undisclosed incidentals of $20 USD per night. Ana and Mike refused to make any considerations for us when i let her know we did not have the full amount requested and turned us back out in the cold after a 14 hour drive from Canada. TownePlace Suites by Marriott – Eagan, MN Pros: -Spacious suites with full kitchens – great for families and long stays. -Convenient location quite near MSP Airport, highways, shops, and restaurants. -Free parking and a decent breakfast with some dietary options. Friendly staff and generally clean facilities. Small gym, pool and washing facilities. Cons: -Somewhat Outdated interiors; some areas feel worn. -Noisy at times -Wi-Fi can be slow or unreliable.
Do NOT book this hotel. They over book their rooms and will leave you stranded. They left my daughter with no room. No help finding something. After I paid for the room! She spent an hour getting a taxi to the hotel from the airport and was left stranded. I will be contacting marriott and state officials.
It's ok for the price. Breakfast quite good and includes hot food. Older place shows a bit of wear but it was clean . Lots of kids. Maid service is not everyday. WIFI is our room was terrible , 4 or 5 MB . Good location, Close to everything. Chili's across the street.
