We went to get service for our Audi at Tom Wood VW, as the Audi service dept wasn’t able to accommodate us for a couple weeks. When we arrived at TWVW on Friday, we were met by DJ, who told us the service would take approx. 90 min. and that there were no loaner vehicles available. She indicated she would keep us updated. Around 1130 (3 hours later), we were taken by the friendly shuttle man to grab a bite to eat. Around 130pm, DJ informed us that a loaner was available and being cleaned up for us. Always take my car when promised. I like being able to schedule work. Also like just driving in for quick things like oil changes.
My 2009 Volkswagen Routan SE had a factory recall on the ignition switch and key fobs. We had no idea until a battery died that they failed to remove the physical, valet key from the old fobs and install them in the new ones. Leaving us potentially unable to enter the vehicle to access the battery without a locksmith. luckily, one of the sliding doors was unlocked!
