The acquisition of YP has been a total nightmare as a pre-existing YP advertiser. I was spending $25k+ annually on YP and have cut all advertising effective this year. They literally screwed up every online listing, attempted to renew my listing contracts without my approval, and to make matters worse they still billing me for the months my listings were 100% inaccurate (never reached out to savior relation of almost 4 years with YP). BUSINESS OWNERS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Way better alternatives.

I have used Dexmedia for years to advertise for my business, on 8/10/17, I was contacted by my representative which left me a voicemail. I called him back on 8/15/17 @ 11:43 am and spoke to Clark Bono. I told him that after 14 years of being in business that I was hanging it up. He appeared to be very understanding and told me he would get me paper work to cancel and that he would put in the notes to not renew. A despicable company to deal with. Advertising suicide for any company!!! Fraudulent and unfair business practices.

Thank you for the opportunity to reach out to our client regarding this issue. We have come to a mutual agreement and have removed all charges on the account. The date on the letter indicated the date of the order was entered into our system and not a date of cancellation. The correct cancel should have taken place at the end of the contract in April 2017. Worst experience I have ever had with any company ever! They take no responsibility for their mistakes, they will all tell you they haven't done anything wrong, they blame the customer all day long. I wish I could give them ZERO stars, because they don't deserve this ONE!

My opinion is Run AS FAST As You Can!!!! They will lie and cheat with no regard to right and wrong. It's all about the money and it's obvious nothing else matters to these greedy disgusting people. Your company is a discrace to American Business. All my personal opinion although I do have proof that they lie repeatedly. The phone books lost so much revenue bc they are no longer relevant that they have no choice.

Worst company I ever delt with. I was with them for over a year before I realized that the tracking phone number they listed on my web site was linking calls to other companies. They corrected this and offered $535 credit they were also charging for Facebook advertising that they never did and haven't offered any compensation at this time. It started off fine for the first year and then the whole deal changed when there were system updates and rep changes. After spending $100,000.00 over the years it wasn't about performance anymore. It was about how much time and money YP could extort from their customer. Even after cancelling the ad they continued to run it and then charge me for it even after I clearly sent the cancellation email. We were interested in doing business with YP after several meetings with a sales rep. We sat down, mapped out a plan to give YP a trial run. We received our first bill and it was more than double what our sales rep listed with us. I email our sales rep and receive an automated response that he is no longer with the company (Come to find out, he left the week after) He put us into a contract that we did not agree on when we were expecting to have a trail period with option to cancel.
