Based on my experience with YP - I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service. We are paying quite a sizable fee for online and book listing. Now we have had our listing for over a year and this is the first time we need help updating it and we have had quite a few issues. First, the listing was not showing up in the online portal, so we couldn't change anything ourselves. When it came to simply asking Dex to correct mistakes (such as paying two checks to the balance of one account, and leaving the other account unpaid), we put in a massive effort and wasted hours of employee time. Dex Media contacted the client to discuss this issue and resolve the complaint. Our records indicate the cancellation was received but the advertising was not pulled from our records. As requested, we have cancelled as well as adjusted for all fees billed after the cancel was received. Horrible does not even begin to describe my experience with YP. SHORT VERSION: This company is absolute chaos. On very few occasions did I ever actually speak with the same person twice. Despite paying a monthly fee high enough to be "awarded" a "dedicated account success manager." They obviously have huge turnover in staff. It has taken 4(four) months to finally have someone from YP correct an error with my closed account. It all started at the end of my digital marketing contract in Nov. 2016.. I was due a refund and YP sent me the amount twice in Dec.2016. When I returned the extra payment via an electronic transfer directly from my bank, YP notified me that they had no such record of the transfer. You would think that Dex would be more willing to provide good customer support given their position in the tech savvy world we live in today where print is becoming a thing of the past. In attempting to merge two separate accounts, I made several attempts to contact my "marketing rep". YP is a scam. Small business owner seriously injured on job, called YP to cancel advertising as no new business was going to be pursued until back at work - possibly for a year - never mind no calls or business generated from ad. Wife and son scrambling to keep existing customers serviced through family help to try to keep the business afloat. This company just wants your money. They are terrible at giving information about what they are offering. They don't give you the terms and policy beforehand they send it after you sign the contract and if you want to stop the contract they won't let you and threaten you with tax collector. Stay away from this company. Find a company who cares about you and your business.
