WARNING DANGER: I was lied to and misrepresented. These people could not get my billing correct after many months of "trying". Finally, they confirmed that they removed my credit card information from their system and that I would begin receiving invoices and be able to pay "manually". The next month, you guessed it, another unauthorized charge. I complained again and was told again that my credit card was wiped from their system. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WOTH DEX! Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Emails and calls go un answered. That bill keeps coming. No requested changes made. If you feel like dumping $5-600 a month down the drain. Advertise with them!

Dex Media contacted the client to discuss this issue and resolve the complaint. Our records indicate the cancellation was received but the advertising was not pulled from our records. As requested by the client, we have cancelled as well as adjusted for all fees billed after the cancel was received. Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this issue.

DEX Media has presented us with nothing but trouble for the past 3 years. I have tried every avenue of communication there is to talk with someone and get billing and advertising issues straightened out. There only response comes when the sales rep want to re-up your contract and when you tell them no and remove all adds in the book and social media, they continue and send you a bill. If you refuse to pay it they call in the collection agency. No one will respond to voice mail and you can not get anyone on the phone. I want ... read more

Dex Media contacted the client to discuss this issue and resolve the complaint. Our records indicate the cancellation was received but the advertising was not pulled from our records for 2 of the products. As requested, we have cancelled all products as well as adjusted for all fees billed after the cancel was to process. The client also wants to obtain the domain release for the website and I was able to advise who to contact to get this taken care of as well. Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this issue.

Own a small residential construction company in Madison, Al. Started receiving invoices from Dex Media claiming the company owed them close to $3,000 in unpaid advertising fees. After repeated phone calls and numerous conversations with their so called Collections Dept, I have made zero progress in resolving this matter. Dex Media contacted the client to discuss this issue and resolve the complaint. Our records indicate the client called in to dispute this late last year and there was an adjustment processed and the product was removed. The reason the client was getting additional billing was because of a billing proration that we have removed and closed the account as requested by the client. We joined YP to help get our name out and help drive business. We met with a sales representative who came into our office to go over what they could do for us. We signed a contract for multiple services to be provided by YP. Our contract was for 6 months but for a portion of this time frame they had the phone calls going to our fax line. This was corrected but the 14 calls a month they promised were mostly out of state call, sales calls, people looking for work, and others advertising their own products. they in end try charge more money than you have to pay and agents laying you than everything is ok , but is not . can't resolve costumer problem. MY RECOMMENDATION TO AVOID DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS with this advertising company . reson: they charging more than tell in beginning , they give you less than promises , in the end they sent you to collector .

I found YP.com to be untrustworthy, I recently cancelled my ads with YP due to wrongful billing and lies by the employees. My advise to any business is to advertise with anyone other then YP. YP in my experience will say and promise things they never intend on providing or following through with just to get you to sign an agreement and then will fail to do what they said, BEWARE if you want quality service and what you are paying for DON'T USE YP.COM

The way I (and a few others I have spoken to) see the company would be; sales reps hard selling promotions (with closed ears) that are seemingly being pushed unto them from above. Every time I spoke with a rep there's a new gangbuster idea and some abstract sponsored literature backing it up. When discussion came to results, emphatic fist pumping for impressions and clicks, and the practiced avoidance of lead counts was all I found. I am a small business owner that agreed to paid advertising with YP.com starting in June 2016. I had very poor results and tried to cancel in August but somehow I was suckered into increasing my advertising budget by an agent by the name of Trip. I agreed to $300 a month in August and it took a month for my new "landing page" to go live and it had multiple problems with it from targeting the wrong area to showing pictures that had nothing to do with the work I do.
