Booked months in advance, we requested Accessible room, told plumbing problems. Put us in basement room with no way to get to hotel with wheelchair.
Amazing architecture, beautiful scenery, and lovely staff. My family and I went a tour and had a great time learning the history from the help of our lovely tour guide Mary! I will be back for a stay and a night tour!

My husband and I were there the weekend of 8/14/16. Our room was not ready at 4pm so we waited on the front porch surrounded by dirty glasses and dishes. We finally got into our room to find a dirty towel hung like it was fresh, visible yuck behind the toilet, on the window sill and around the sink, mold on the tile and shower curtain, hair dryer not working, no remote for the TV and some guy smoking a cigar on the balcony outside our room. My Son and I really enjoyed the tour. Very well done and informative. The groups are appropriately sized and the the tour guide was very knowledgable about the history. Beautiful travel destination in Estes Park.
They were renovating, but didn't light up the walkway to the parking lot! It was very precarious at times.
The hotel rooms are beautiful. The bedroom furniture looks antique and elegant and the bathroom is huge. However the Stanley has started going to seed inside and out. Instead of spending so much on landscaping the outside needs painted. The inside lower walls need painted and the carpet is held together with staples on the edges of the stairs.
