We didn't see any ghosts. Bummer. But it was a beautiful day to visit and we had a blast.
We just took a tour at night. I was disappointed that we didn't get to go up stairs to see any rooms.
Great and knowledgeable staff. An experience I'll remember forever.
If you've heard ghost stories & seen pictures of sightings, but are still a skeptic? GO. My bf & I took the day tour & thought we wouldn't catch anything, couldn't be more wrong. I've got an orb in front of the desk with the keys, my bf caught not only an orb in the basement, but also audio of a male responding to me saying "this is better", when I had told my bf to wait on recording for the tunnels, then something exhales shortly after. Tour was great!!! To bad the waitress at cascades was rude and seemed annoyed to do her job. She ruined my whole experience!
This is a must see Hotel. It is so beautiful. We sat on the front porch in the evening and watched the sun go down. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We captured a tall black figure of a woman at the top of the stairway. I could not believe it was in our photo, as there was only two people up there taking photos with their cell phones. We did the 5:30 p.m. ghost hunt and got to tour some unique places. The only big disappointment is that they cancelled out the fourth floor in the tour. The main problem I had was the bathroom! The sink was just a pedestal sink, no vanity or shelf to put makeup or curling iron on! I had to sit hot curling iron in the sink which is very dangerous, and that's where I had to sit my makeup bag also! No I could not sit them on the stool as the stool was in a separate room with the bathtub! And the sink area was the only place with a mirror so I couldn't even do my hair and makeup in the main room with bed and TV! Our bathroom was not female user friendly!
