I have just experienced the month from h*** with Home Depot. I purchased a dishwasher on August 13 - tax free weekend.I have had FOURTEEN exasperating telephone conversations totaling FOUR hours of my somewhat valuable time regarding their incorrect delivery address and incorrect delivery date. They don't know how to keep their word. Or make it right when they make a mistake. I need to be able to cook my meals for my health. But they have no concerns about we the customers. I will never order anything from them again. Not to mention I will be sure to tell others not to do so.

9/5/2022 - Had a scheduled delivery the arrived with material that I did not order, not enough of other material that I did order, and damaged material. Also, the job-site pickup which was scheduled with Manager ****************** at the New Hartford store never arrived. Now I have to spend my own money and time to return the order that was mismanaged. AMAZING that I was charged a $79.00 delivery fee for an incorrect order!

God awful experience! We ordered a new GE washing machine from Home Depot. The nightmare began on delivery day when the delivery guys said they needed to access our main water shutoff valve in our basement. Before I could return with a flathead screwdriver to open the panel, the man had ripped the access panel completely off the drywall of our newly finished, newly painted basement wall leaving the pipes exposed. We purchased a front door from HD and when it arrived six weeks later the door was damaged. HD did not answer our calls regarding this situation. The replacement door arrived around six weeks later and the delivery men dropped it from the truck onto our driveway. My wife saw it happen and they lied to her saying the door was fine! The installation crew refused to install it because the door was broken at the bottom and there were too many scratches. We feel, for our inconvenience, HD should replace the door free of charge. I had a delivery window of four hours today for my new stove. I fulfilled all the delivery requirements. I watched for the delivery truck. No one ever came. I then received an email stating, sorry we missed you. The driver never came to my residence. I later went through my phone messages and noticed an unknown caller from another state. I purchased a kitchen appliance package from Home Depot on July 10th. Today is September 3rd and they have not completed the installation. Their installation team has been to my house 6 times and every time they come, they cannot do part of the installation for one reason or another. Five weeks, six installation visits, 9+ hours of me sitting inside the local Home Depot to explain the situation and beg staff to help me they approve me to return the destroyed dishwasher and purchase another one. We bought carpet from Home Depot and they sent out a subcontractor to install. The crew did not know how to install carpet on stairs. It will all have to be removed. Home Depot has been unresponsive as well as the contractor. Very poor process and lack of accountability. Go with a smaller local company who does not have subcontractors install. ****** learned.
