I hired the Orkin services back in November of 2021. I had moved to a new house and I had some issues with mice at my house. The company sent a agent to my house, he is coming every month and he review the house and put some traps on the basement. We have so far caught two rodents. They are charging us ***** dollars every month. The situation with mice has continued, but that is the only solution that they offered. Also, you are locked in year contract, so you can't get out. contracted orkin to put insulation in the floor joist in crawl space. Told me it would keep my floors warmer. They left me with a unfinished job and cold floors. That was several years ago. Made numerous calls and still nothing. Can't get nobody to call me to resolve this and can't get nobody to come for an inspection. My advise is to stay away from this company. They take your money and leave you hanging.
Technician came within scheduled time frame and was pleasant, efficient and wore mask and booties.
I called for a quote and while waiting for the appointment I was emailed a coupon for $75 off. but when they did my appointment I had to argue with the manager to get the discount for the initial visit. Then when finally billed I was still charged the full amount and after an email to them was issued a credit but they didn't contact me. Borderline scam. Charges exorbitant amounts of money for simple things like spraying a can of pesticide. OVER 200 DOLLARS. not to mention people who were charged ****+ dollars for work that never got done. Wouldn't be surprised if they get sued in the near future. Stay away from these guys. There are plenty of companies who will do the same amount of work for much less. From ****** a sales manager, who came to evaluate our problem to ***** ************** who treated our home, service was professional and impeccable! They were great!!! We got other quotes but Orkin was by far the best! Cant recommend them highly enough. I usually have a lot of worry when hiring a home service but these guys exceeded my expectations and were pleasant and responsive as well. ????????????
I signed a contract with Orkin Pest Control ********************************************************************************* to eliminate bed bugs. Orkin said they could eliminate this problem by spraying pesticides 3 different times over a 2 month period. They charged me $1,800.00 dollars which I had to pay upfront. Orkin came out to our home to do a free inspection. They were professional and appeared to be very knowledgeable. At that time they told us we had termites, ********* ants and during the inspection we found a bat in the attic. They proposed a bat extraction and wildlife control program that if prepaid would have been $4300.00. I had a rat infestation and entrusted Orkin to help aid in solving my issue ( in the ***** area). What a terrible decision.Orkin has been nothing but horrible is this entire experience from not doing proper inspections(Inspector:*******************************) , lazy/incomplete work, and dreadful communication to say the least. Process started 1/19/22 and today is 3/3/22 and my work is still not completed properly. Its impossible to get ahold of anyone, and I dont know what to do. The Service Manager contacted ************** to discuss his concern and scheduled a service to return on 3/25 to properly seal siding corners and install the down spouts. He also agreed to start a pest control service for the rodent issue with 6 services at no cost to ************** to ensure rodent issue is resolved.
