I wish I could give no stars. Terrible service. It took 20 minutes to get a cup a coffe and after 30 minutes we got up and left. When I tried to leave the manager told me the order was on my was but couldn't find my order. I ended up paying for the coffee and left. The man didn't even offer to cover that for the terrible service. What a waste of my time. I'm thankful that Chik fil a was still serving breakfast and will never go there again.

Was excited to try out a Steak 'n Shake for the first time after hearing some people rave about them. This one has been opened almost 6 weeks now, and the staff is clearly over whelmed and very under trained. Some of the "grand opening" problems should have started to clear up by now, but they still have a L O N G way to go. The food was OK, nothing special ... and certainly not worth an hour and a half wait for 2 burgers, fries and shakes. You can sit in the drive thru for 45 minutes or walk inside when it's empty but they refused to do 2 shakes as a carry out order.

I feel some of these reviews are a bit unfair because these staff members are being slammed with nonstop people. As someone who used to work in hospitality once upon a time ago, I can see in their faces that they're stressed by the busy crowd. With that said, I will say that the food both times we came was excellent. I love the Frisco melt! Milk shakes tastes great too! Our waitress was very nice, but very slow. We waited 40 min to get a seat, then another 40 minutes inside and had to leave without ANY food, so we could make our movie. From the mouth of my 5yo daughter--"these people are too slow. This is the worst restaurant ever!" Not to mention the flies flying all over the place or the fact that it took 10 minutes before someone even took our order, and that was only bc we asked for someone to serve us. Third shift is extremely slow. The line was fairly short but we have been waiting for over an hour. 3 associates walked out the back door to socialize with one another and the manager on duty handled the situation by locking them out. Every time I look in the first window all I see is people standing around and talking.
