waited 35 minutes to sit another 25 for drinks and another 36 for food. wasn't busy everyone standing around talking or on phones
It’s always dirty and slow service but then again they all over in Fort Wayne.
waited a half hour and then we just decided to seat ourselves and then we didn't get helped until the last started cleaning g the table next to us and we asked for help!

We went to eat after church on Sunday. There was a hand written sign in the window saying they were closed. It was the middle of the day. This is the 3rd time this has happened to us in the past couple months. Multiple times when we have eaten here they gave us plastic utensils because they said they did not have clean silverware. The service is terrible and the manager stands around doing nothing. Not a good restaurant to go to. It used to be a family favorite.
waited in drive thru for 2 shakes for 20 minutes at 3pm. grouchy lady took my $$ and handed back change. never said thank you. when she came back she tried to hand me a bag. I told her we got shakes, still no talking. she came back 5 minutes later and handed me shakes not telling us which one was which. my banana was not chopped. just half a banana in the bottom of cup. terrible service!!!!

I am appalled at the service I have received at Steak N Shake several times now. I waited in the drive-thru the other day for 37 minutes to be handed cold food, my order was incorrect, and the staff was less then friendly. I then waited in the drive-thru two days later, again, for 28 minutes to be handed cold food was informed after this long wait they were out of salsa.
