SEPTA does a fine job despite the completely pathetic, whiny millennials that keep their faces buried in their phones, and expect everyone that runs the system - people that put in far more hours of hard work than these "customers" ever will in their entire lives, to kiss their feet. It's quite a shame when these are the people that we must transport. Kick em the hell off. Good on you, SEPTA, for all you do and for the many people you move around. Thanks for your excellent service.

On Aug 12th my 24 yr old daughter took the 1530 train from Thorndale to Suburban Station that arrived at 2:50 PM - she was catching the 3:45 China Town bus to NYC, she was so nervous as this was a big job interview and her first journey alone to NYC. Well at 3:44 my phone rang to hear her sobbing and saying she had left her wallet on the train, oh no! She had no choice but to get on bus and continue on with her journey, no money to take a train home yet she had a bus ticket already and was meeting up with her brothers in NYC... read more

I unfortunately have an episode of poor customer service to report. I purchased about 8 regional rail tickets in may 6 zone 3, 2 zone 4 disabled fare. I was told they would be good for 6 months. I didn't need the zone 3 txs afterall. Today I came to Jefferson stations to use my zone 4 and exchange the zone 3 tickets for one more zone 4 as I had already used one. I was told I could not exchange or refund tickets purchasex before the July 1 fare change and had to mail them in for refund. I was not told this upon purchase in ma... read more

Trains continue to break down daily. Little to no information given to riders regarding how long of a wait they can expect. Septa continues to show what a poorly operated public transportation system looks like.

I am a 5 day per week commuter on the Media/Elwyn Regional Rail line. Prior to that I was a Philadelphia resident for 7 years utilizing the subway system on a daily basis. Needless to say I am quite familiar with SEPTA. I need to say that this is the most archaic public transportation system I have ever seen. The oh-too-frequent mechanical issues are absolutely unacceptable. There is a large community of people that rely on this system for their commuting needs. These individuals, including myself, are expected to be picked ... read more

I do not mind waiting for the bus each day. I always thought that the service wasn't that slow. A far side from the traffic, it's an excellent service overall. Every operator is a lot nicer, and for whatever reason, I have no other choice but to give it 5 stars for awesome service and fantastic effort

I am on my way to court to fight this case cause the driver closed my hand in the door and now I have hand , shoulder , neck and back pain but Septa is persistant on fighting this and no one will understand the daily pain I got through behind this. I missed two days of work for this mess and would have let it go but the insult is the driver opened the door and looked at me and kept going. I have and still am working 15+ years at my job and almost lost it behind these drivers in a rush to get no where. Now since arbitration w... read more

I take SEPTA RR and it can be the most infuriating thing. I ride 5 days a week to and from center city for work. I pay for a monthly zone 3 trail pass which is not cheap. Everyday one of my trains is late. The conductors also rarely enforce the quiet car so what is the point of having one. Parking is awful, luckily I get the 2nd train in so I am able to get a spot but otherwise no go if you take the 4th train. All in all it is such a frustrating experience that when I go into the city on weekends I don't want to have to deal... read more

Ticket # 855929: Just wasted another morning waiting for the 52 bus (block #9514) from Gladwyne to 49th & Market. I'm 10 min down the line from Gladwyne, where it's supposed to leave at 9:40am, gets to me by 9:50am.. Tracked it at 9:35 to 9:50, but it never went by Hagys Ford Road, WHERE DO YOU GET THESE DRIVERS? Screwed for an unnnecessary $22 UBer ride, since the next bus is the 1:26pm 44 to 5th & Market 3 1/2 friggin hours LATER!!! Professional SEPTA drivers should know their route, how to read the map, and how to watch t... read more
