Unreliable, inefficient, and inept.
Late trains, cancelled trains, trains not leaving from their scheduled stations. rude and uncaring staff. I'd type more but they're not worth it.
I got to 16th and Morris at 4:04 pm, called SEPTA and 2 operators told.me that the bus was detouring on Broad St. Got to Broad St and called at 4:39 pm the operator said they were detouring. She tracked the bus and said 2 buses were at Chestnut St. I explained to her that bus never came up Broad St. Then I walked back to 16th St and the 2 was on regular route. It was only 4:54 pm. if you were trying to get somewhere at a certain time then you should leave about 3 hours earlier than you believe you should. today I waited at Roosevelt and Tower Boulevard for either the Route 1 or the Route R. not only were both buses late, when the Route R arrived, it left me and 22 other people at the stop. I was 45 minutes late for work after leaving my house two hours early with an estimated time of 30 minutes of Transit. I am in danger of losing my job now from being late too many times. 107 just went past 69th and Chestnut without stopping, the next one doesn’t come for a half hour. Worst bus line 😕
paid 13.50 for 8 rides on a card, took 2 rides and the card declined on the 3rd, saying that I had $0 left on it. The woman watching the turnstiles decided to argue with me about it despite me showing her my receipt from earlier today, so I won't be paying ahead for rides or using SEPTA if I can help it from now on.
Septa wants the Key Card to be the way to use Septa but unless they address the serious problems with the system it is just not going to happen. The website is a terribly designed mess and the customer service is staffed by people that don't seem to care.
