Trains come early or late, you just need to be at the station praying for the train to be somewhat on schedule (not too early not too late). I love to commute on public transportation and skip the traffic. Septa makes sure you don't enjoy that choice.

There are constantly people smoking on the platforms. Saturday it was crowded and every time we waited there was someone(s) smoking. Someone smoking in the train car yesterday too! I had a headache after Broad st+ EL line.

Septa does not appear to take rider safety seriously at suburban station; the entrances at 15th & JFK are frequently impassable due to broken doors, human waste & drug deals- septa police are rarely present under ground & apparently fixing the doors is not a priority either. It is unacceptable for the amount of money we pay to ride the train to work.

Really only in existence because there are no competitors, at the same price point. Other than being cheaper than Uber, there isnt really anything good to say. Septa, just be on time. You've been around for decades, get it right!

Badly maintained. Elevators don’t fit large wheelchairs for subway. Public busses are a danger for chair users as well. I was told the problem was “inherited” and nothing could be done, but there are many people in the city, residents and tourists alike, who can’t get around with ease (or at all) because of these dangerous issues. Not even having curb cuts? Really? The city will eventually get slapped with a lawsuit when a disabled or chronically ill person seriously injures themselves trying to just navigate the streets. Th... read more

SEPTA is terrible for disabled riders. There is no trolley line that can be boarded by wheelchairs, and it is difficult and unsafe for rollator and walker users. The subways and Regional Rail have difficult and unsafe to navigate stations with mobility aids. Uneven pavement, unsafe or inaccessible platforms, unsafe or unavailable paths to the street (such as forcing people to go through a parking lot or down stairs to reach the sidewalk). Most buses have very limited priority seating, and all of that seating vanishes if two ... read more

Once again, left stranded at University City when the 317, without warning, doesn’t stop. So I either sit and wait another hour for the 416 (with no guarantee that will take on passengers) or go to Wilmington and pay a cab to get me to Churchmans. This happens regularly enough that’s you’d expect some provision to be made, but it’s the same old story

Who decided to shorten the amount of rail cars during Flower Show week? Twice (so far), afternoon Lansdale/Doylestown trains have stopped at Temple to discharge passengers with the conductors notifying us that they will not let anyone board because of crowding. That inefficiency comes with an apology that another one will be coming in ~30 minutes while we wait on a freezing platform.
