COMPLAINT: SEPTA driver pretends to be off duty DOS: 6/28/2019 TIME: 7:05 ROUTE:125 BLOCK#:4712 BUS#:3060 THIS SEPTA DRIVER IS THE WORST!!! I’m sitting and waiting on the 7:05 , route 125 to KOP at 13th and Market on 6/28/2019. The driver starts her bus and the sign CLEARLY shows “SEPTA OFF DUTY”. We are so lucky to live in region where you can get almost anywhere without a car thanks to the transit, and SEPTA workers are always helpful with directions and tips. When weather, accidents and equipment issues cause delays, they are understanding and do their best to get everything back in order. And it is not an easy job! The SEPTA Key Card is great and getting better all the time.
Constantly late, cancels trains with no notice, over all an awful train company
I don’t think I’ve ever had the need to use customer service for any reason, but today I left my phone on the train!! I actually was able to speak to a live person who was able to tell me that the train I was on was coming back through my station so I could pick up my phone. In the meantime, the train’s conductor, Derek H., returned my call to my phone to tell me he had it and would meet me at my station. Win-win! My phone was out of my possession for about 45 minutes. THANK YOU SEPTA! THANK YOU DEREK H.!!!!!!
Let me begin by saying there are some drivers who are excellent! Unfortunately there are some drivers who may want to consider other career options. There are plenty of unemployed or underemployed people who would do this job with a smile. The MasterCard debit function of the Key card is a rip off. One can only load the card at Moneygram locations. It costs $4.95 to load. If you use it as a debit you will pay have to pay fees. In order to use this feature of the card you have to upgrade, which requires your name, address, and DOB, and SS#? For a transit card? Why???? You cannot transfer any existing balances to the new card for debit use. My key card won’t read and I came to customer service to get it replaced. All I got was rude person telling me to “register it” and giving me no direction on this. This was a card that I got as new as this system went on. Went online, did what I had to do and yet Septa finds a way of making it not work. Horrible service
