I love sightseeing and learning the city using their mass transit systems when I travel. Septa is one of the worst systems I’ve used. Busses never on time, no help from drivers, did more walking trying to find stops than actually riding.
It is always late undependable, does not follow TSA safety protocols, and exhibits obvious nefatism to certain riders. I have seen vaping on trains dirty buses, passengers between cars during train motion, people not paying fares, and of course the constant lateness on all modes of Septa transport
My son was told he was not allowed to get on the subway this morning heading to school. We were under the impression that students ride for free on the first day of school. It was 7:30 a.m. and he was told he needed a traspass!!!!! Well he has to get to school to GET a transpass. So I'm at work while my 15 year old son is walking from SOUTH PHILLY to 17th and Spring Garden. You should be ashamed of yourselves! PATHETIC!
The overcrowding on the Paoli Thorndale line is becoming a safety issue. The 4:15pm and 5:13 pm do not have enough cars to accommodate the mass amount of commuters using the line. It is a huge safety issue as people pile in the aisles with nothing to hold on to and fall on one another. Someone is going to get seriously hurt! Commuters are left with the decision to be safe and not board the train meaning no way home or risk their personal safety on the overcrowded train. It is completely unacceptable!
This transit system is over priced and lacks any kind of customer service.
Three times a year you change bus and trolley schedules-September, February and June. You post them on line ahead of the changes BUT paper schedules are often not available until the day of the changes or later. I am lucky-I can check the changes on line. But not everyone has a computer. Why can't paper schedules be on buses, trolleys and/or the terminals like 69th street prior to the effective date?

Rude customer service. Confirmation emails are joke. Like the one I got after filling my key card. But they took my $25.50 with no problem🤔Give me my money back!!! Your online service must be on Pacific time. You got me stranded downtown in the pouring rain because your computer system isn’t working but you took my money. I work too hard for these shenanigans.
THEY SUCK....ALWAYS COME LATE OR TOO EARLY....ALWAYS HAVE A ATTITUDE AND ALWAYS DIRTY!!!!
