Just this week I’ve had to call lyfts to get to/from work because instead of doing their jobs and stopping at stops to be in time trolley drivers would rather just blow passed every stop so they can get off a little earlier. I also waited 30 mins for the r5 when the septa app THE APP OWNED AND OPERATED BY SEPTA told me it was running 40 mins late. Trying to get to new York from suburban station, normally you could buy a "joint ticket" with njtransit thru Trenton. Surprise, no more vending machines for regional trains! I have a key card, and plenty of key machines, but you can't buy the combined ticket there. Ticket counters? Open at 6, and my train leaves at 6. Not cool, septa! And to boot, train left at 6:07. Now my connection to New York is in danger
The amount of money Septa charges for transportation you would think that their stations and trains would be clean. Your Market Frankford line is horrible, the trains are nasty, the floors are sticky and you have people who sleeps on the train which must mean no one does a walk through. Not sure what may be up but you guys need to do something about that.
Fewer surface stops + more scheduled runs will help to reduce traffic, and move passengers more efficiently.
past 2 /3 months the El has been straight up deplorable; floors sticky constantly, puddles of seems to be different bodily fluid(vomit, piss!, Spit) can't get on without having to kick trash out the way or off the seats. Doesn't matter time of day/night, ur riding in filth. I feel dirty, HATE my shoes sticking to the ground, and it's not like septa is cheap whatsoever. I have to bring my clothes to work, get there extra early, bc I don't want to sit in my work outfit and possibly get filthy.
I was recently on the 100 speedline to work in kop as the train was approaching my designated stop (Dekalb station) I got up at the last min nearest to the door & asked the operator to let me out while we were still at the station, she told me no then I reached Norristown got on route 99 & asked the driver nicely if he could start the bus with the heating system on, he paid me no mind at all, that’s not good customer service for us young folks, get it together septa
The busses are ridiculously late and the drivers are rude and unaccommodating!
#1. Being on time. #2. Keeping rowdy kids off the el. Scheduling a time frame for them to ride. They crowd the trains and often are out of control. #3. I'm so sick and tired of these homeless/crackheads begging or demanding money from passengers.
The service is horrible. The customer service is below acceptable. No consideration for customers. Your services are always late. No matter if I’m on Regional Rail or broad street line or blue line. If I leave early it doesn’t matter still get to work later than I want
