After six nights at Wailea beach resort it was enough to make me not want to come back to Maui at all it was a horrible experience. Staff was not polite, mostly because they are short staffed and stressed out. Marriott and Hawaii has set these hotels up for failure post Covid. I can see it on staff’s faces. I am a titanium elite, got no upgrade. No breakfast. Apparently the hotel doesn’t own the restaurant!?!? But the hotel can give us Starbucks coffee and fruit and pastries? Complete b.s. The hotel emailed me in advance ask... read more

Stayed periodically at Courtyard Marriott Rockville from December 2020 to June 2021. On June 14, 2021 there was two unauthorized charges on my Bank credit bank card, value of $250.00. When questioned management, it was brought to my attention that I was no longer allowed to stay at Marriott hotels because I allowed "squatters" to stay in my room while I was away. The "squatters" as it was told to me vandalized the rooms back in late May in one of the rooms I stayed in. I was never notified by management and was falsely accus... read more

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Watervliet, Michigan for a baseball tournament Memorial Day weekend for one evening. Made the reservation via phone after checking the hotel specifics at hotels.com, marriott.com, expedia.com and the hotel's direct web site. All sites indicate there is an adjacent water park (that is closed due to COVID) but then also advertises a pool and hot breakfast. When we arrived at the hotel we asked where the pool was so that our boys could have some fun. The desk staff indicated they were c... read more

I recently booked a reservation there for 5 nights starting 6-3-21 until 6-8-21 and upon my arrival I was told that I am on the DO NOT RENT LIST. I’ve frequented this hotel on numerous occasions & never had an issue with anything or anyone, I asked the young lady why she couldn’t rent to me & she replied that she didn’t know. I called the third party whom I went through & they explained that some damage was done to the room & garbage was left in the room. I’m not understanding what was damaged considering it was just me & my... read more

WARNING *Long review* Just don’t go here. It’s a waste of money despite having Marriott in its name. I figured since this was a Marriott hotel the service would be exceptional along with the rooms. I was wrong and learned my lesson. The customer service was absolutely awful We got into our room and the room REEKED of mold. There was a blood stain on the curtains, the shower water was cold, and the pillows had stains on them of who knows what. We quickly left the next morning as fast as we could, checked out despite having on... read more

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. This hotel is horrible!! Marriott Corporate sucks and does not take complaints seriously. Submitted a complaint to corporate and was totally ignored. Spoke with Line Kaloni, the CEO's assistant and she was no help at all. Line Kaloni told me they don't handle complaints at corporate they send the complaints to the hotel manager. What is the point of submitting a complaint to corporate if the complaint is not going to be looked at by corporate and sent back to the horrible managemen... read more

Just recently spent 3 nights at this property, now as a frequent traveler who would normally stay in a Marriott property I will admit I know this is a new property and it's quite apparent this property needs training and attention. Upon checking in it was quite evident that housekeeping had not in my opinion correctly prepped our room and I'm sure others as well considering our room was dirty and dusty which was promptly brought to the attention of the front desk once we had gotten to our room. The same evening that we had p... read more

I stayed at a filthy Residence Inn Marriott, LEWISVILLE TX. smelly, tissue with snot in closet, phones not working, horrible attitude of the receptionist who thinks she owns the place and BLM. She had an attitude when I walked in after a long-delayed flight to Dallas. She might have been sleeping in the back room for all I know. I rang the bell to get her attention to come to the front desk. She walked up to the front desk as though she was doing me a favor by coming from behind the sleeping room. Two keys she gave me - one ... read more

I have had a Marriot Credit Card for several years. Each year, I receive a "free night" stay which has been useful given the $90.00 annual fee. The free night is worth 35,000 points. I attempted to book a room at a location that is normally 12,500 points per night. The location was nearly full so Marriot did not honor the free night certificate. The program says that there are no blackout days. The reservations supervisor argued that these were not blackout days - what else do you want to call them? I recommend that no one w... read more
