I've been a client at Shampoo Avenue B for the past year and change - I'm in love. Never has my hair looked this good. My highlights are perfection and haircuts precise. The entirety of the staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I go into the salon relaxed and confident each time that I'll be getting exactly what I've asked for (and looking fabulous in the end!). I love Shampoo Avenue B! I have had multiple services with a few different stylists and each of them went above and beyond my expectations. I don't normally review places but I know how traumatic it is for a girl to get a bad haircut/dye job and if this review can prevent that, I'm happy that I could help!!
After trying many salons in Manhattan and Brooklyn, I finally found a stylist I truly love, Aut! Not only has she always cut my hair to perfection but I have always seen those finishing before me beaming as they leave her chair. The woman works magic! Shampoo Ave B is an equally enjoyable experience. The salon is very relaxed and fun but the service is always excellent. They offer you a beverage as soon as you walk in the door and make sure to attend to you throughout your appointment.
I've only had great experiences at Shampoo Ave B! The staff is friendly, warm, and attentive, and I've never been disappointed! Great cuts, color and amazing blowouts for a good price, which I think are hard to find elsewhere in NYC... you won't be sorry :)
Great service, Sylyse is great stylist, professional who can create great styles with contemporary flare for his clients. All staff very friendly, warm atmosphere. Very happy with Sylyse and his work.
