I've visited many salons in the city and Shampoo Avenue B by far does the best highlights!! I highly recommend this salon. The stylists are super talented and a pleasure to work with.
I have been a loyal client of Erik's for the last two years. He always listens to what I want, never rushes, every hair cut has been great (I go every 5-8 weeks), and I often get compliments. I have fine and thin hair and wanted to go from a long bob to a pixie cut the first time I went in. Amazing service at an affordable price. My stylist Jen restored my faith in hairstylists and hair salons by intently listening to what I wanted and delivering just that. She recommended products for my own good and not for the capital gain of the salon, which I appreciated. Her recommendations helped in stopping my hair fall. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a very attractive decor. So satisfied with Shampoo Avenue B!

I've been getting my haircut here for the past few years. It's literally the only place in New York I trust to get my hair cut that's not ridiculously expensive. The staff is nice and everything is always on time. I've never had issues and that's why I keep on coming back.
I love Shampoo Avenue B. I got a LifeBooker deal there close to 2 years ago, and have never looked back. Sylyse is incredibly talented, both with color and cut. He always knows exactly what I want - I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair in my life! I'm usually one to bounce around salons trying to find a good cut, but Sylyse continues to go above and beyond my expectations at Shampoo Avenue B. I definitely recommend it to anyone!
