When I moved to New York, I had to find a new highlight/haircut spot. So far, I've had three different stylists at Shampoo Avenue B, and they have all been great. For blonde highlights and a cut, they listen to what you'd like, and make sure your hair looks natural and great at the end of the day!
I regularly go to Shampoo Avenue B, they've become my go-to for hair. They greet you with an offer for a beverage, including a beer if you choose. The wait has never been more than 7 minutes to get started with a shampoo. I have always been pleased with the result. The best place to get a men's cut in NYC. After moving to NYC, I tried a few different places -- Shampoo Avenue B pays close attention to every detail of a cut, wouldn't go anywhere else in the city.
This year will be my fourth as a customer at Shampoo Avenue B. I've only worked with one stylist in that time, and have been super happy with her. It's always been easy to communicate with her, and there've been many times in which she has helped me figure out what I want when I haven't always been able to articulate it. I love Shampoo!! They take great care of their customers and I have had great experiences with all of their stylists. I would highly recommend this salon.
Absolutely love this place! They always have a friendly staff and Jessica is the best. I have issues growing my hair because of the highlights so Jessica suggested a dry cut. It was one of the best cuts I've ever received and I'm finally able to start getting the length I want. Between my stylist and the atmosphere, I refuse to go anywhere else.
I just moved to the city and was kind of worried about finding a place in my neighborhood, but Raquel was great. She was so sweet and listened to me when I said I didn't want to lose much length, but wanted to keep my hair healthy. Can't wait to go back.
I have nothing but positive things to say about shampoo Avenue B! I've been going for years, Jessica does the PERFECT Bob, color and highlights. At this point Jessica knows my style but before that she truly listened to what I wanted and learned exactly what I liked and I love her for that. From the receptionist to the shampoo guys, everyone is so friendly-makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend, and can't forget the great prices!
Best place I've found to get a haircut in the city. Eric listens to exactly how you want your hair cut and does just that - no surprises and he never cuts more than you ask for. Reasonably priced and they always do an excellent job.
