Had a wonderful experience at Shampoo Avenue B thanks to Lifebooker. The stylist was communicative, professional but easy to talk to, and most importanly, knew what he was doing. I walked out feeling amazing -- and confident that I'd finally found a new salon to frequent. I'll be back within the month and am super pumped to see their new location!

Great salon with a fantastic customer service culture. Carlos is my go to person. He takes the time and patience to cut/style your hair. You will leave his chair feeling happy and satisfied with his work.
Spent 3 years looking for a good salon in NYC. Found Shampoo Avenue B and will be going here for my haircuts as long as i'm in NYC. Great friendly service and always a quality cut. Receptionist is always welcoming and offers you a drink when you arrive, very reasonable prices, and great stylists.
Love this place! My stylist is Jen and ever since I started going I have been obsessed with my hair and always get a ton of complements. I have cool-blonde hair and for all the blondes out there- you know how hard it is to find a stylist that you're comfortable with enough to let them do your hair. Definitely recommend!
I have been going to Shampoo Avenue B every month for more than a year, and I've always been very satisfied with all their services, from cut to color. But even if the staff is very professional and knowledgeable, this is not even the best thing about this salon: people are just great there! I was really anxious going in, it was my first hair cut in NYC while I was an intern there this summer, and she knew exactly what I wanted fixed/updated before I could even say it. Received a great haircut from Erik at Shampoo Avenue B that has lasted me 6 months! The blowout was also wonderful - I was traveling internationally for a wedding the next day and the styling lasted for the wedding. Definitely recommend and would absolutely go back.
